Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg is a centre for research and development for new technology and communication. At Lindholmen today there are 311 companies with 9 700 employees, where the largest employers are Ericsson, Volvo Technology, IBM, Semcon and SVT.

Campus Lindholmen consists of the University of Gothenburg, Chalmers University of Technology and the IT University. There are a total of 9 000 university students, researchers and teachers working at Campus Lindholmen.
