San Jose, California, embraces zero emission neighborhoods with innovative Swedish collaboration

This pioneering initiative, in collaboration with CAKE and local retailers, is set to revolutionize last-mile delivery services within the designated ZEN areas, emphasizing a cleaner, greener urban environment.

San Jose has long been at the forefront of the green transition, consistently driving policies that prioritize sustainability and environmental responsibility. The ZEN pilot was initiated by the Sweden-US Green Transition Initiative, a collaborative endeavor between the Swedish government and public agencies. This initiative addresses the urgent challenge of climate change by fostering the development and adoption of sustainable solutions, with a focus on lowering greenhouse gas emissions in both Sweden and the United States.

With CAKE Zero Emission's cutting-edge electric bikes and the enthusiastic participation of local retailers, the ZEN project is poised to set a new standard in eco-friendly delivery services.
