Lindholmen Science Park AB

The company Lindholmen Science Park AB is responsible for the physical development in the area, as well as the brand and the strategic development. The company is also a partner in many projects that require collaboration beyond borders, including several EU-funded development projects. One of the company's main objectives is to create opportunities for collaboration between the business, academic and the public sector, both nationally and internationally.

By network and project management, and our open test and development environments, we stimulate collaboration and create growth and competitiveness in Western Sweden, Sweden and Europe. Lindholmen Science Park's main building on Lindholmspiren is an important site for activities in the area.

Owners and financing

Lindholmen Science Park AB, reg. no. 556568-6366, was established 2000 and is based on Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The company is owned by Chalmers University of Technology, the City of Gothenburg, Business Region Göteborg and the business of Gothenburg. The largest shareholders on the business side are companies such as Volvo Group, Volvo Cars, Saab, Ericsson, TeliaSonera and Telenor.

Cooperation agreement is signed with the University of Gothenburg and the Swedish Road Administration. Lindholmen Science Park also has partners from the public sector that support several of our projects. These are Vinnova, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agencies and Region Västra Götaland.
